Hawkins, Eugene William Funeral services for Eugene William Hawkins of Grand Prairie will be 2:00p.m. Saturday January 14, 2011 at South Park Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Capote to officiate. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Eugene went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, January 11, 2012 after a battle with congestive heart failure. Eugene entered into the printing business in 1963, successfully heading Spartan Reproduction and Printing Inc. as well as branching out independently in servicing graphic arts equipment throughout the DFW Metroplex. Mr. Hawkins was well-loved by all who knew him, serving as a deacon in his church for many years, and he was known for his love of traveling, his generosity, hospitality, and dedication to his Lord. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his honor to the American Heart Association .
