Fanita LaJuan Tucker

On July 4, 1976, Fanita married Marijon C. Tucker. She was a salesperson for Avon from 1978 through 1997. She became a member of the Avon Presidents Club from 1979 through 1983. Fanita loved spending time with her family, doing various crafts, traveling and caring for horses.

Fanita is preceded in death by her parents, John Barnes and Edna Laura Welch. Fanita is survived by her husband of 49 years, Marion C. Tucker; her son, Howard John Mitchell, Jr.; grandchildren, Zachariah Alexander Mitchell and Amber Mitchell; great grandson, Nehemiah Alexander Mitchell; siblings, Samuel J. Welch and Wilma J. Garner; and her dear friend of 72 years, Ann Bailey.

Burial arrangements are being handled by Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050. There are no public services planned at this time.
