Frances Jane Mitchell Sproles

Frances Jane Sproles Born April 6, 1923, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday June 19, 2010, at her home at Mountain Creek Assisted Living Community in Grand Prairie. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand mother and wife. She was committed to her family and was loved very much. Throughout her 21 year career with Texas Instruments, she was still able to remain actively involved in community organizations in Grand Prairie. She committed her life to her career, her family and friends. Through her hard work and dedication, she lived the example of "doing the best she could every day". That was her "gift". She was an inspiration to all of us.The family would like to thank all the staff at Mountain Creek Assisted Living Community for their loving care. She was preceded in death by one brother, Leland Mitchell and 2 sisters, Evelyn Mae MacIntosh and Mary Margaret Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Troy Sproles: 2 daughters, Sandra Pitts, and Jerri Young; 2 grandsons, Troy Pitts, Brad Pitts and his wife Kim; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Miranda, Cole, Clayton and Cameron, loving nieces and nephews, friends and Lucki. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Grand Prairie Thursday, June 24th at 6:00 pm
