Gayle retired from the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office in 2010, while residing with her husband, Bill White, in Irving, TX. Gayle was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2017 until she succumbed to the illness.
Gayle was preceded in death by her son, Teddy B. Dewoody Jr; her parents, Woodard and Oneta Rawlings; and her Husband, Bill White.
Gayle is survived by her daughter, Cindy Rawlings and husband Kim; her 4 grandchildren: Amanda Kell and husband, Tony; Ricky Gunn and wife, Tabitha; Blake Gunn, Tamara Smith and husband, David; eight great-grandchildren: Abbi, Micah, Braden, Mackenzie, Cynthia, Marshall, Blake Jr, and Kaiden.
She will be missed greatly. Love you, Momma!
A visitation will be held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, US, on September 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Southland Memorial Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Tx on September 17th, 2026 at 11am
