Gene Autrey Chadwell, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas , passed away May 11, 2015, at Medical Center of Arlington, in Arlington, Texas. Gene was born to Maxwell and Ina Chadwell in Maud, Texas on January 22, 1935, He later moved to Grand Prairie, Texas where he meet and married Carolyn Smith. Gene worked for many years for Volght, as Product Control Manager. He especially like the Rangers, Cowboys and Race Cars, but his love was spending time with his family. He is survirored by his beloved wife Carolyn Chadwell, two sons Billy Smith and Dylan Chadwell, one daughter Shontia Jones, five Grandchildren, eight Great-Grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. He was precceded in death by his parents and son Britt.
