Gerald Warren Woodford

Jerry graduated from Rocksprings High School and was an auto mechanic by trade. He loved fishing at Moss Lake and was a quiet and private person. He enlisted in the United States Army in November 1963, earning several service medals, including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, a Bronze Service Star, an Air Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal and 2 Overseas Service Bars.

Jerry served in Vietnam and Germany. He was a Sharp Shooter with an M1 Rifle. He also completed training courses in Military Justice Code of Conduct and NCO Prep Courses. He served in HQ Company 1st Battalion 39th Infantry Army. Jerry received his Honorable Discharge in October 1969.

Jerry is survived by his sisters; Shirlee (David) Stewart, Jeanelle (Dale) Rao, and Marchele (Ron) Metcalfe and 8 nephews and 4 nieces.

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Bentley and stepfather, Mark Bentley and sister, Joan Wright.
