Viewing for Grace Collins Botello, 91, of Grand Prairie, Texas will be held at 10:30 a.m. with service to be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery under the direction of the above- mentioned funeral home.
Grace was born July 31, 1927 in Blackgum Community, Oklahoma, to James Kelse Collins and Alice K. (Craighead) Collins. She passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Medical City Hospital, Arlington, Texas.
Grace attended Blackgum School, in Blackgum Community, Oklahoma. On November 15, 1956 she passed the State of Tennessee Board of Nursing exam and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married Francisco Roberto Botello in Memphis, Tennessee. They were married 50 years. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and two sons, Eddie Cole and Ricky Botello. She mentioned many times that she was the last one alive of all her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Francisco Botello of Grand Prairie, Texas. Four daughters: Brenda Cole of Millington, TN., Paula Cole Youngman of Arlington, TN., Diana Botello of Arlington, TX. and Teresa Botello of Arlington, TX. Two sons: Robert Botello of New Orleans LA., and David Botello of Mineola, TX. Nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
