

Gregory Allen Clark, known affectionately as Greg to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Born on January 22, 1967, in Waxahachie, Texas, Greg's life was one marked by dedication, service, and the joy of simple pleasures.
Greg was the beloved son of Clara Golden and the late James R. Clark Jr., and the cherished stepson of Steve Golden. His early years were spent in the warm embrace of his family, including his grandparents, James R. Clark Sr., Julia Clark, and Felix and Bertha Goodwin, who preceded him in death. Greg's family grew to include his devoted stepbrothers, Scott and Jeff Golden, who, along with his mother and stepfather, survive him.
His legacy continued through his four stepsons and six grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Greg's extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends will fondly remember his friendly and kind nature.
Greg's formative years were spent at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas, where he graduated before embarking on a career that combined his love for country and mechanics. He found his first professional home at Bell Helicopter in Hurst, Texas, where he honed his interest in aircraft. This passion led him to join the United States Air Force in January of 1991, a decision that would define much of his adult life.
During his illustrious 21-year military career, Tech Sergeant Greg Clark served with honor and distinction at various stations, including Dover, Delaware; South Korea; Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier, Louisiana; and Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. His commitment to excellence and his country earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and superiors alike.
Away from his professional duties, Greg found solace and joy in the company of his dogs, Kihel and Bomber. He was an avid traveler, exploring the country in his RV and taking in the beauty of the landscapes he so dearly loved. A sports enthusiast, Greg's passion for football was unparalleled, and he was a fervent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, celebrating their triumphs with the same vigor with which he served his nation.
Greg's life was a testament to the virtues of friendship, kindness, and dedication. His warm smile and generous spirit were a beacon of light to all who knew him. As we bid farewell to Gregory Allen Clark, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey well-traveled, and a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
