In your times of sadness reflect back on the good memories you had with your father!  You are a strong lady and I know your family appreciates that! One story I remember most and share with my friends about you is the time when you called the police about your missing car. This happened during my high school years when I had a license to drive. So when you brought home a 200SX with a standard transmission, I had to take it for a drive. I woke up early the next morning and took the car without telling you, realizing that I would have the car back in the same spot where you had it before you can notice. But was I wrong. I drove the car around the blocks, teaching myself how to drive a standard transmission car. I was so engrossed in the activity that I lost sense of time. After several hours of fun, I drove home. Walked inside and who greet me at the door--you. Calmly, first question out of your mouth was 'Where have you been?' I answered by saying that I took the car for some driving practice. You just said, 'Why didn't you tell me?' Of course I am thinking that I didn't need to if I had the car back before you notice, but I replied, 'I am sorry.' You continued by preaching like a caring father would do, 'Next time tell me before you take the car because I didn't know who took it and reported it stolen to the police.' And of course I said 'Yes, Sir.' You were calm and  sincere, but firm, not furious or upset. And at the same time teaching me. That memory I would never forget.

Thank you for all the love, joy and wisdom that you've given to my friend and co-worker Melissa.  She has shared these gifts freely with me and everyone around her.  I regret that I didn't get the chance to meet you, but your wisdom and kindness has blessed many lives through your daughter.
