Howard Ray Jones

Howard Ray Jones, 81, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away March 28, 2014. He was born in Dallas, Texas on November 28, 1932 as the baby to 12 siblings. He married Linda Lewallen on December 18, 1954 and had two children; Lyndall Ray Jones of Grand Prairie, TX and Teresa Jo Lewis of Grand Prairie, TX. Howard served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman in Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong from July 1950 – September 1953. He owned Grand Prairie Medical Laboratory from 1958 until 1983. He is survived by his two children, Lyn Jones and fiancé Terry Fulbright, Teresa Lewis and husband Terry; four grandchildren, Mary Wilson and husband Joey, Tiffany Phelps and husband Jonathan, Greg Jones and wife Brittany, and Justin Jones; and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to recognize to two special people who loved and cared for Howard like their own family. Lula Abagodu and Azeb Berhanu have served as Earth angels and for that we truly thank you. Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 1, 2014, at Bean Massey Burge in Grand Prairie, TX.
