Ivan Keith Sharp

Ivan Keith Sharp, a devoted husband, father and Papa, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, after fighting a courageous battle. He is now resting and free from pain, walking with his Lord and Savior in perfect health.

He was born in Marlinton, West Virginia to Woodrow and Lula Sharp, being 1 of 10 children.

Ivan is survived by his wife Reba; children Dawn and her husband Kerry, Jessica and Chris; grandchildren Paul, Kylie, Brenden, Brayden, Kerry Lee, Zack, Steven, Karlee and Emya; great grandchildren Damon, Emma and Xavier; sisters Helen and her husband Gary, and Leona; brothers-in-law Gary, Ricky and Dale; and many nieces and nephews.

He had a successful career in the aviation industry for over 40 years of which 23 of those as co-owner of American Cooler Service. At an early age he learned to hunt in the mountains of West Virginia and carried that passion with him to Texas. He enjoyed fishing, spending time at the deer lease with his family and friends, especially with his son-in-law and grandsons. He loved getting together with family and friends, often joking and playing tricks on them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Lula Sharp; brothers Paul, Kenneth, Alvin, James and Steve; sisters Linda and Connie; granddaughter Zoe.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Arise Church, 201 W Center St., Duncanville, TX 75116
