James Lee Batchelor, 71, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away November 22, 2014. He was born in Kinston, NC on February 24, 1943 to Joseph Fennell Batchelor and Debbie Whaley. James graduated from Beulaville High School in North Carolina, and received his degree from The University of Maryland. He was married to Belinda Gayle Batchelor. James had a career in the Entertainment business as a promoter and vending for Texas B Productions, Texas B Vending. He was a member of Irving Elks and had a passion for music and his family. He is preceded by his parents Joseph and Debbie; sister Fannie Mae Batchelor. He is survived by his wife Belinda Batchelor of Grand Prairie; son Jesse Batchelor of Abilene, TX; step children Danielle, William and Carrie Ferrier of Grand Prairie, TX; brother Billy Batchelor and his wife Glenda of Swansboro, NC; cousins Janice, Pete, Nancy, Susie, Verdie, Lou, Kathy, Elaine, Jerry, Randy, Vernon and Brenda Lee.
