Janet “Sue” Griesinger, 80, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died of natural causes on January 26, 2023, at a local hospital in Arlington, Texas. She was born on May 19, 1942, in Tiffin, Ohio, the daughter of Earl Krupp and Virginia (Grummel) Krupp.
Sue graduated from Whitmer High School, class of 1960. She later graduated from Mountain View Community College with a dental assistant degree. She was married to Gerald Walter Griesinger, Jr. in 1961. They were married for 40 years. Sue and Gerald moved to Texas in 1967 with their daughter. Once in Texas, they had three more children.
Sue was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gerald in 2011; and brother, Tom in 2022.
Sue is survived by her 4 children and 11 grandchildren. Daughter, Beth McClendon and her husband, Jimmy; and three granddaughters. Son, David Griesinger and his wife, Reba; three grandsons and a granddaughter. Son, Michael Griesinger and granddaughter. Daughter, Susan DuPree and wife, Simone; and three grandsons.
Sue was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play and cheer in sports.
Sue will be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with her husband, in a small ceremony. Date to be determined later.
