Jean Marie Lopez, age 88, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Mansfield, Texas. Jean was born in London, England on February 5, 1935 to Albert Edward Tape and Ethel Maude Bartlett. In May 1989, Jean married Martin R. Lopez.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ethel Tape. She is survived by her children, Kim and Jesse Solis, Kenneth Knight, stepdaughter, Adrian Lopez; grandchildren, Brittany and Ernesto Galan, Kevin and Dinorah Faz, Michael and Marissa Faz, Viviana Faz, Jonathan Solís, Chris Reagan Knight, Kyle, Blake, Max Knight, John Anthony Lopez, Ashley Mendoza, Christian Cervantes, Brianna Herrera; and great grandchildren, Elyssa, Emily, Victoria, Monica, Jayden, Alayna, Meliyon, and Christian.
A visitation for Jean will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A funeral service will take place Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
