Jeannene E Bigham

Jeannene Bigham was born in Kilgore, Texas on February 2, 1934. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 26, 2021.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended Adamson High School in Dallas and was a majorette. She graduated early so she could marry the love of her life, Chile Bigham. They were married for 63 years before Chile passed in 2014. It was a wonderful marriage full of travel and baseball. Chile and Jeannene owned a sporting goods store in Desoto, Texas in the 70’s. It was always their dream. Jeannene was a life-long baseball fan and never missed a Ranger game on TV. Jeannene was a singer/soloist and known for her class and style. She later worked at AAFES where she retired in 1996.

Jeannene was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Pearl Elmore; also brother Richard Elmore. She is also preceded by her husband Charles “Chile” Bigham.

She is survived by four children: Mike Bigham and wife Shelley of Waxahachie; Mark Bigham and wife Sherry of Highland Village; Denise Frank of Grand Prairie and Matt Bigham Of Grand Prairie. Jeannene is also survived by seven Grand children: Zach Bigham and wife Amber; Wensdy Stucky and husband Josh; Kyle Frank and wife Alex; Bailey Bigham; Cody Bigham; Rachel Bigham and Gigi Bigham. Jeannene is also survived by ten Great Grand children: Nona Bigham; Avery Bigham; Calvin Bigham; Christopher Bigham; Kennedy Stucky; Kate Stucky; Eleanor Williams; Charlotte Bigham; Grayson Stucky and Negan Yarbrough.

Pallbearers: Zach Bigham, Kyle Frank, Josh Stucky, Jacob Johnson, Justin Kemp and Mark Pearce.

Viewing: Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4-7pm at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie, TX. Funeral: Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11 am at The Woods UMC in Grand Prairie, TX. and Officiated by Reverend Kim Poer. Graveside to follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX.

Biography

Jeannene Bigham was born in Kilgore, Texas on February 2, 1934. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 26, 2021.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended Adamson High School in Dallas and was a majorette. She graduated early so she could marry the love of her life, Chile Bigham. They were married for 63 years before Chile passed in 2014. It was a wonderful marriage full of travel and baseball.
