Jerry Lon Horn, 71, passed away October 3, 2013 in Irving, TX. He was born September 27, 1942 in Eastland, TX. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy as a Medic. Years later he became the owner of the restaurant, 901 located in Dallas, TX. Previously, he was associated with Cafe’ Pacific in Dallas Highland Park, Faces in the Grove, Coconut Grove, Florida, and the original Elan’s in Houston. In 1997, Jerry Lon Horn was named “Teacher of The Year” in Grand Prairie, TX. Jerry Lon Horn made a difference in the lives of so many people. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Survived by his first cousins, David W. Warren, Marc Hood, Cathy Hood Mitchel Thomas, Ellen Mitchel Wilcox, Patty Swindell, John Mitchel, Michael Mitchel, and Chuck Mitchel.
