Jewel Goddard

Jewel was born December 30, 1924 to Joseph and Frances Klapuch. Jewel retired from J.C. Penny Co. after 18 years of dedicated service, however, she was best known for her dedication to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Goddard, her parents, Joe and Frances Klapuch, sister, Doraine Buck, and brother, Marvin Klapuch. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and CNAs of Legacy Hospice for their special care of Jewel.

Survivors: Sheryl Tegtmeyer and husband Chris, Dianna Robleski and husband Robert, Catherine Griffith-Lee and husband Robert, Bernadette Harmon and husband Brett, William Crable and wife Margie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, May 24 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home at 2951 S Belt Line Rd. Grand Prairie, TX 75052.

Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to the National Parkinson’s Association or Shriners International.

Service: 9:00 am Saturday, May 25 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Shreve officiating. Interment will be immediately following the funeral at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
