Joan was an only child and grew up in Cumby, Texas. She graduated from Cumby High School in 1945, and married her high school sweetheart, Radford “R.T.” Williamson.
Joan was a very loving and focused woman who was dedicated to her family. She was her parents’ caretaker and stayed at home to raise her children. She enjoyed privacy and taking vacations. The majority of her vacations consisted of camping in Colorado.
Joan is preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart Radford “R.T.” Williamson, and her two daughters: Cristi Gray, and Baby Williamson.
She is survived by her daughter Jana Williamson, Granddaughters: Victoria Williamson and Tamera Thacker, and Great Granddaughter Nicole Sanchez.
