"Daddy Joe" and "Miss Kat" were truly my second set of parents growing up. Having a polar opposite look of the tall, lean, blonde and blue Jennifer aka "Sissy", Miss Kat's famous line to the assuming stares of Texans in the late '80's was "this little one looks like her daddy". Not a total lie, I do resemble my real father but Jennifer and I would grin every time with thoughts of being sisters in mind. Even though Joe wasn't my actual dad I'll treasure so many childhood memories at the Praytor household; family dinners, play dates in Barbie land, and lots of big bear hugs and kisses. I will miss him terribly, think of him often, and remember him fondly! I can only hope that my future children will have a secondary father figure who loves them as much as Daddy Joe loved me! My prayers are will you all during this time!
