Joe A. Torres

Joe Angel Torres, 80, a devoted family man and proud veteran, passed away on February 4, 2025. He was born on January 25, 1945, in Dallas, TX, to Jose and Maria Torres. Joe served his country honorably in the US Army. Upon his return, he married his high school sweetheart, Belia Rosales, on June 15, 1968. He cherished his family above all else and was a constant source of love, support, and guidance. Joe retired proudly from the US Postal Service in Grand Prairie, TX, after a dedicated career.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Mary Frances Torres, his parents, Jose and Maria Garcia Torres, and six brothers and four sisters. His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 56 years, Belia Torres; his daughters, Melissa Ayala and her husband, Michael Ayala, and Michelle DeLeon and her husband, David DeLeon; his four grandchildren, Joe Angel Arriaga and his wife, Chaem Arriaga, David DeLeon Jr. and his wife, Crystal DeLeon, Katelynn Robles and her husband, Jaziel Robles, and Jacob Michael Ayala; and his five great-grandchildren, Olivia Arriaga, Jay Arriaga, Wes Arriaga, Elena DeLeon, and Elliott DeLeon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 2:00to 6:00 PM , followed by a funeral service from 6:00-8:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home at 2951 S. Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
