Jose Maria Trevino

Jose Maria Trevino Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on May 31, 1948, in Mexico to Loreto Flores and Ildefonso Trevino.

Jose was a devoted family man who found great joy in helping others. Whether it was a family member, a friend, or someone in need, he was always willing to lend a helping hand and do whatever he could. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to be there for others touched the lives of many.

On November 13, Jose married the love of his life, Olivia Trevino. Together, they shared 52 beautiful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, faith, and cherished memories.

Jose was a faithful member of the Jehovah's Witness congregation, where his faith was an important part of his life. He treasured his relationship with God and the fellowship he shared with his congregation.

Jose's greatest joy was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Olivia Trevino; his children, Laura Chavez and her husband, Robert Chavez; Miriam Leon and her husband, Victor Leon; and Jose Trevino Jr. and his wife, Heather Trevino.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Yvette Livas, Micah Trevino, and Lola Trevino, and his great-grandchild, Eliana Valdovinos, who brought him great joy and many precious memories.

He is also survived by his sister, Elvira Gomez, along with numerous extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.

Jose will be remembered for his generous heart, his love for his family, his willingness to help others, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. His presence brought comfort and love to those fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will continue to live on through the family and friends he loved so dearly.

Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
