Julio V Alvarado, Jr.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Julio V. Alvarado Jr., born December 26, 1940 - May 30, 2026. A Vietnam Veteran, Julio was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love for his family was the foundation of his life.

Julio is survived by his wife, San Juana Alvarado, and his children: Julio M. Alvarado III (Sylvia); Rebecca Martinez (Daniel); Loretta Lynn Alvarado-Almanza (Jose); and Sandra Dutton (Stephen). He is also survived by his siblings: Emma Benavides, Salvador Alvarado, Edward Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Irma Balzen, and Rose Llanes. Julio also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Julio was preceded in death by his Son Robert M. Alvarado. Parents, Julio S. Alvarado and Francisca V. Alvarado; his brothers, Teleforo Alvarado and Henry Alvarado; and his sister, Ofelia Ivarra.

Julio’s legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
