OBITUARY

Kenneth Wade Bristow

September 3, 1927January 12, 2020

Kenneth "Ken" Wade Bristow, age 92, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020. Ken was born September 3, 1927 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Isaac and Cordelia Bristow.

Ken graduated from Sapupla High School and then received training from Aeronautical Engineering Spartan School of Aeronautics. On January 2, 1949, Ken married Viola Lenora Carson. Ken's career was in Quality Engineering for LTV/Vought Aerospace. Ken had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lenora "Nora".

He is survived by his children, Sue Higgins, Kenneth Wade Bristow, Jr., Sally Carlisle, Apryl Whitten; grandchildren, Cherees, Sarah, Robin, Brad, Jennifer, Austin, Brooke and Lauren; great-grandchildren, Beth, Katie, Persephone, Annalyse, Luke, Molly, Lexie, Lacey and Adalynn; and his sister, Patricia Everoad.

A visitation for Ken will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM at CrossPointe Church of Christ, 3020 Bardin Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 AM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. .

I remember so many summers coming down for vacation and staying with them. Rest in peace Uncle Kenneth. You will be missed. Dad loved his big sister. Wish I had stayed in touch with everyone. My prayers and love are with each one.
