Visible light is electromagnetic radiation within the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that can be perceived by the human eye. Visible light is usually defined as having wavelengths in the range of 400–700 nanometers, between the infrared and the ultraviolet....

Why start a tribute to a person you love and adore with a definition? well, it's because we forget that Faustino was really a nerd.....

But he was also the Light that Mufasa explains to Simba when he said everything that the light touches is our kingdom .... Faustino's light touch so many.

When we reminisce about Faustino it's the joy and laughter that he brought to us that we remember. But there was so much more to him that we want to bring to light as we pay our respects to a magnificent soul.

Whatever he did, was brought to a higher level and better standard. He had a great appreciation for finer things in life, and yet was modest and at many times extremely humble.

When you met Faustino you were impressed with his sense of humor, love for music, great food, family and friends but, his greatest love and devotion was his beloved daughter Harlo.

We will miss you Faustino our light, our beacon, our personal ray of sunshine. We were able to see you while you were on our wavelength....now your light continues to brighten our thoughts, memories and the lives of family, friends and all those who shared his love for life.

Little known fact about our fathers that I discovered when I attended Faustino’s graduation party. Both our fathers actually worked together probably around the time we were both infants. Had no idea until Mr. Herrera Sr told me that day. But it makes sense of course that people are brought together by big and likable personalities. Faustino could always make us laugh and tried to keep things lighthearted when tensions rose. I will miss him dearly.

I am still having difficulty with the fact you are no longer here. I can remember the first few times we hung out, playing Mortal Kombat at the arcade and going to the bowling lanes. I will also never forget you pranking me by filling my truck with pumpkins. I had no idea how to get rid of so many pumpkins, so I sold them off for a dollar each, lol. I could go on about your jokes and pranks but it only brining me sadness to know you are gone.

R.I.P Faustino

Sincerely,

Faustino, or as I knew him, Squirrel was a delight the day I met him! He was only a child but that sense of laughter and joy I saw in him as a child continued to grow. I saw him recently and was again struck by the way he lit up the room and held everyone's attention. He was, and is, one of those rare people that has a lasting effect on everyone he meets. He will be greatly missed.

Faustino was a cool guy. As kids in high school we had a lot of fun in the band and outside with the cool kids. He was a fun guy. To his daughter I will say he was a cool man. I know he loved you, he would want you to be strong. God Bless.

Little Cousin,
I say “little” because we were almost a generation apart in age, and although I had not seen you in years, it by no means lessens the pain associated with your untimely departure. In reading these tributes from family and friends, I gather your soul was larger than life: an out-going personality, the life of the party, a joyful soul, a sweet bird. In my heart and in my faith we will see you again in the perfect sense in the house of our Lord and Savior. Happy is our Resurrection! Love you and so long for now. Heartfelt condolences to uncle Larry & family.

It’s so hard to believe you are gone. I hadn’t seen you since you were a little boy until January of this year. You grew up to be a very handsome young man. I enjoyed our talk we had.
You’re going to be missed by many. So glad I could share some good times with you in our chat. May you Rest In Peace Faustino!!
Sincerely,
Jannet Brixey

My friend was a great person that had many of fun memories. He was a friend you could count on. I remember one year at his birthday we was hanging out together in Arlington at a room when we arm wrestled each other after he demolished me the first time and I beat him after he arm wrestled a few others. I was probably lucky that day. Faustino you will be missed. Rest In Piece
