Leon Douglas Wheeler

Leon was born in Binghamton, New York on September 10, 1950 to Florent Harold Wheeler and Arlene Marion Stebbins. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School and later received his Masters degree from Devry University.

Leon married Perlita Rudio on July 14, 1985. He was a member and a retiree of the United States Navy and had a passion for fishing.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Arlene Wheeler; son, Michael Douglas Wheeler; and brothers, Keith P. Wheeler, Robin S. Wheeler and Kevin C. Wheeler.

He is survived by his wife, Perlita Wheeler; children, James Dennis Wheeler, Alysia T. Rieg, Crystal T. Wright, Brittany Michelle Wheeler and Bryan Douglas Wheeler; grandchildren, Taylor M. Wheeler, Dimitrious A. Rieg, Darrian T. Rieg, Daykota T. Rieg, Kylie N. Wheeler, Peyton I. Wright, Ian T. Wright, Ava L. Wright, Charlotte K. Wheeler, Jackson E. Wheeler and Emmett M. Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Parker R. Rieg, Lily A. Rieg, Maya J. Rieg, Mason J. Rieg-Schmidt, James R. Wheeler and Bryson G. Wheeler; brothers and sisters, Sharon A. Gonzales, Charlene L. Cancilla, Scott H. Wheeler, Kathy J. Seis and Carl G. Wheeler.
