Lonnie graduated from Ladonia High School in 1950. In the early 60's he entered the US Air Force where he served 20 years. After he retired from the military his servants heart lead him to spend 20 years as a Texas State Peace Office for the City of Dallas. He was generous with his time, taking frequent trips to Ladonia to mow the graves of his family members. Lonnie had a wonderful sense of dry humor, with and arsenal of jokes always ready for the right occasion.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his mother Lena Hornsby Hannah, father Lonnie Jackson Hannah Sr., sister Wynelle Edwards.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Hannah, 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
