Lori and Glenn met in Dallas Texas at the State Fair of Texas, where Glenn was working at the time in 1988. Lori was mad at Glenn when he finally called her 2 weeks after the fair was over and didn’t understand why it took him so long to call. They dated for about a year and a half and married on June 22, 1990, in Haltom City Texas. Lori and Glenn were married for a couple of years before they decided to start having children and only after meeting with Glenn’s mom, she told them “If you wait till you can afford children, then you will never have them”. Sadie Dawn was born in January 1993 followed by Loren Nicole in January 1996. After a little break, Violet Marie was born in April 2002, Glenn told Lori “We can’t stop till we have a boy”. After one failed pregnancy Christian Eugene was born in February 2005.
Lori was a homemaker until Christian started school. She then worked as a lunch lady at Christian’s school for a short time. Lori worked a few odd jobs until they started their own trucking business in 1999. After the trucking business failed, she began working at Calvary Church in Irving, Texas. She worked at Calvary Church until she got the opportunity to start working at Labatt Food Services in Dallas, Texas.
Lori loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. One of her hobbies was cooking and she loved trying new recipes out on the family. She loved going to the dirt track races, spending time with friends and family, fishing and spending time outdoors. She was hard working and a trusted employee of the business she worked for. She was a friend to everyone she met and helpful to everyone she knew.
