Manuela entered into eternal rest on February 29, 2012. And although we will miss her dearly, she is enjoying being in the presence of Jesus Christ, a joyful reunion with her parents, husband Fidencio and children - Andres, Marcello, and Yolanda, a brother and a sister. Manuela was born in Goliad, TX and lived through the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl Era, and WWII in her youth which helped her to become the formidably strong, indomitable, self-reliant person we all knew and loved. She loved reading the daily newspaper, tending to her plants and doll collection, awaiting the visits of the people that came to read and speak God's Word to her. She loved her needlework and crafts. She considered her day complete when her son Eddie showed up in the evenings with Lottery tickets in hand. She leaves behind her sons - Thomas, Ernest, Francisco, Eddie, Fidencio Jr. and grand"Daughter" Gloria Belcher whom she raised from birth, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
