Margaret Moses Lineberry was born on April 17, 1926 in Salem VA to the late Willie C. Moses and Mattie Gwynne Moses. She married her late husband, Louis Monroe Lineberry, on April 6, 1945 in Salem VA. The two of them traveled the country for Lou's work from Salem VA to Frederick MD to Melbourne FL to Brigham City UT to Jekyll Island GA and Brunswick GA then to Newport News VA and finally landing in Grand Prairie TX in 1968. This left a trail of friends that lasted until they took their last breath.
They had 2 children, son William (Bill) Louis Lineberry and wife Kim, and daughter, Sandy Lineberry Bearer and husband Gary. They had 5 grandchildren, Kristel Race Halbert and husband BJ, Kayla Lineberry Beets and husband Scott, Kyle Lineberry and Cody Lineberry, and Felice Geeslin; 3 great grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn Halbert and Tyler Louis Halbert, and Grace Gordon with another great granddaughter due in March 2019 Ashlyn Rae Beets. She is also survived by her sisters, Marie "Sister" Bryant of Virginia Beach VA, Betty Lane of Mint Hill NC, and Shirley Waggoner of Graham NC, and a sister in law, June Lineberry Lockard of Salem VA, along with many, many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a loving wife and mother. She always had a spotless home and a huge, delicious meal on the table for whoever was there. She loved to work in the yard, to see the huge American flags flying, cooking, sewing and playing bridge. But what she loved the most was her husband and family, especially the grandchildren.
