Maria Galindo

In 1994, Maria married Juan Mendoza, and together they raised 3 children: Vicky, Rick and Joanna. Maria worked in the Food Service Industry, including 10 years at Grand Prairie ISD and 15 years at Six Flags over Texas. In her spare time, Maria enjoyed reading her Bible and traveling.

Maria is survived by her children; Vicky Montes De Oca, Rick Mendoza and Joanna Matthews; her grandchildren: Ivan, Emily, and Israel Montes De Oca, Edyn, Cate, Audrey and Jonah "JJ" Mendoza and grandchildren; Ava and Josiah Montes De Oca, Manuel Bances, Mario Galindo, Manuel and Esperanza Maquin.

A visitation and funeral service for Maria will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Generacion Que Conquista, 2300 E Park Row Dr., Arlington, Texas 76010.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.

A graveside service will occur Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
