She married Roberto G. Garcia on July 6, 1958. She worked at General Motors and then at Kroger's as a baker, which is what she loved doing, and she also worked for Grand Prairie ISD in the cafeteria. She had a passion for reading the Bible and the newspaper, being with her family, babysitting kids, crossword puzzles, traveling, dancing, watching football, and going to the casino with loved ones.
She is survived by her children; Patricia Garcia Martinez, Juanita Hernandez Albina Rodriguez. Her grandchildren; Priscilla Garcia, Kristy Hernandez, Nick Martinez, Robert Jr. Hernandez, Juan Martinez, Michael Hernandez, Rosa Rodriguez, Israel Rodriguez; great- grandchildren; Robert Joseph Hernandez, Audrey Johnson, Anthonie Farris, Aaron Farris, Juan Carlos Guardiola, Adrian Farris, Adam Hernandez, Jayden Hernandez, Israel Jr. Rodriguez, Layla Hernandez, Bella Martinez, Immanuel Rodriguez, Delilah Hernandez, Aalilyah Hernandez, Arya Rodriguez, I. King Hernandez, Alfredo III Rodriguez; her brother, Gonzalo Gonzalez, and a host of many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation for Mrs. Garcia on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 610 N.E. 17th Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens at 12:30 pm.
