I always thought we’d have more time. I planned  to visit you, but I will wait now until we get to visit eternally in the presence of our Lord.  Im so glad we got to experience Israel together.  See you later, my sister in Christ.

I am one of the ladies of the Gateway bible study group that Mattie and I attended.  She was always full of the love of Jesus.  She loved her family  and friends.  She was a blessing to be around.  Praying for her family for comfort, strength, and peace during this time.  She will be missed, but we will see her again soon.  She is with Jesus, praising and worshipping Him.

Mattie loved ministering to and caring for those sent to the ministry house.

When I think of Mattie I feel joy. She radiated the joy of the LORD. She was truly a beautiful woman of God. Always full of energy & happy to serve. She was always ready with a warm hug, a huge smile, and a positive word. She was a wonderful woman! We're blessed to have had her in our life. Our condolences to her children and extended family & friends. She will be missed and that means she positively impacted this world. May you all be given the LORD's comfort, love, grace, & mercy needed throughout your life. May you hold on to your memories and speak them to future generations. May you know our LORD & continue to cultivate a deeper relationship with Him. Mattie would tell you the same.

What a joy it was having our sister Mattie serve alongside the SSI Team at the Grand Prairie Gateway church.  She was one of our translators.  Faithful in serving the Spanish Ministry.  We will truly miss her presence. ❤️

She supported Shara in Jerusalem and her ministry, where they shared the Word of God with a group of women in an area where teaching the Gospel is prohibited.
Maty and I also had the privilege of serving alongside her by helping ministries in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, where we shared the Word of God with women in prison.

This is one of the groups your mom loved and supported. This is Shiloh's group. She listened to their music while she was in the hospital, and I know it brought her comfort and peace. They visited her at home every year, and they shared a very special friendship. She faithfully supported their ministry and always looked forward to seeing them whenever they came to Dallas. She truly loved them, and they meant a lot to her.

Your mom had a special passion for pouring into the lives of women, encouraging them and guiding them toward God's purpose for their lives. She loved sharing the Word of God with them, and Lupita was her faithful partner in this ministry during that season. Together, they touched many lives and faithfully served the Lord.

Maty fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams by visiting the Promised Land. During her time there, she experienced something truly beautiful—the presence of the Holy Spirit—which made her journey even more meaningful and unforgettable.

This is when I first met your mom. She loved serving the Lord by welcoming evangelists from out of town and making sure they had a warm, loving, and comfortable stay. Her gift of hospitality reflected the love of Christ, and she always served with a joyful heart.

Mattie loved her children, and her desire for them was to know Jesus in a deep, deep way ... Her love for Jesus was unmatched ... She loved the women she ministered to ... They knew it too ... They loved her deeply, because she truly cared for them, and prayed for & with them for Father to meet their needs, spiritually, emotional, & physically.

Our conversations over the last 10 years have been heaven on earth conversations, that were deep Jesus-love times, and encouraging, every single time.

You always brought light into the room, no matter who was there, no matter the time of day.  Now you get to rest with the "Light of the World", whom You burned brightly for on this earth.    

You are already missed.

Mattie was my friend, coworker, and a great life mentor for many years. She brought joy to the workplace with her cheerful smiles. 

Mattie taught me to make the best out of what you have everyday and positive attitudes are contagious.

As we look forward, the best way to honor Mattie's memory is to pass on her many teachings.

This was day of the wedding where we danced the night away. My Momma had great rhythm and great sense of fashion.

My beautiful Momma loved to travel. She came with me to my college roommate’s wedding in San Salvador.

My dear friend you will be so missed. What a light of a person, her heart was so beautiful and a joy to be with.   My deepest condolences to Mattie’s family and friends.

Being baptized while in Israel several years ago was a true gift to her!

Mattie loved the Lord with all her heart as well as her family. She was a beautiful woman who lead by example, determination,  and joy!
