Marian Kuykendall

She was born on March 30, 1937, in Decatur, Texas, to M.L. "Buster" Brown and Alseone "Elsie" Brown.

Marian found great joy in spending time with her beloved husband, Eugene Kuykendall. Together they cherished the beauty of nature at their second home in Jefferson, Texas, and enjoyed fishing the lakes of Arkansas. She treasured life's simple pleasures and the time spent with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Melinda Joyce; her son, John; her parents, M.L. "Buster" Brown and Alseone "Elsie" Brown; her brother, Charles Brown; her sister, Elaine; and her son-in-law, Shawn McClain. In her later years, Marian often reminisced with love about these cherished family members, as well as her grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and her extended church family, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

Marian is survived by her devoted husband, Eugene Kuykendall; her son, David, and his family; and her daughters, Kathy and Sharon, along with Sharon's family. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply and remember her with love.

Marian's faith was the foundation of her life, and her kindness, warmth, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held July 30th at 1pm at Baptist Temple 1921 SW 3rd St. Grand Prairie, TX. 75051
