Marie Riddick

Marie Riddick of Grand Prairie, Texas, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Marie was born on October 14, 1955 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York to James Allen Stewart and Janice (Davidson) Stewart.

Marie enlisted in the United States Army in 1978 and served her country proudly. She trained in Environmental Health becoming an E-5 Specialist. Marie received various medals during her time in the Army, including the Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and Sharpshooter (Hand Grenade)/Marksman (Rifle M16). She also completed her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health.

A memorial service for Marie will be held Monday, September 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A committal service will take place Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
