Martha Francis Harvey

Martha F. Harvey (Toomer), born on October 11, 1939, peacefully passed away at her home in Grand Prairie, Texas, on August 24, 2025, at the age of 85. She was the cherished daughter of Julia Bolin and Raymond Toomer.

In 1976, Martha married Dudley Harvey, and their marriage spanned 41 beautiful years. Before retiring, she dedicated her career as an Executive Assistant at a carpet company, where her professionalism, warmth, and dependable nature were deeply appreciated.

Martha found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to her garden, enjoying card games, and caring for the neighborhood cats, always sharing kindness with both friends and furry visitors alike.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dudley Harvey; her sisters, Helen and Reba; and her brother, J.L. She is survived by her children—Dusty Ward, Julianna Hayden, and Phillip Ward—along with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who were the pride and delight of her life.

Martha’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and devotion. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering dedication to family, and the warmth she radiated in everything she did.
