Melinda Redding, 53, a resident of Grand Prairie, passed away October 19, 2013. She was born March 6, 1960 in Dallas, TX. Melinda was a longtime employee of GTE in Irving. Melinda spent the last 15 years as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her mother, Inez whom she dearly missed. Melinda is survived by her husband of 24 years, Joe Redding; 2 dogs - miniature schnauzers, Spencer and Willie; father, Carmen Arredondo and his wife; brothers, Carmen Jr. of Roundrock, TX, Eddie of Long Island, NY, and Jamie of New York City; aunt, Sister Irene; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Family will have a private service.
