Melissa is survived by her son, Taig Villareal, her mother, Josie Rodriquez, her sister, Tiffany Garca, nieces, Taylor and Jordyn, brother in law, Robert, and her boyfriend, Fino Galindo, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Rodriguez.
Melissa took pride in her job as a Senior Analyst at Petmate, enjoying her co-workers and spending time with the Lord. She was quick-witted with an unwavering spirit and loved her trips to Buccee’s and shopping at estate sales. She mastered her skills in finding unique new places where she can have fun and enjoy making memories with her family. Her laughter was contagious with a smile that could light up a room. Her fashion sense was timeless, and she often had to clean out her closets to make room for new pieces. She was strong, resilient, and enjoyed the simple things in life.
A funeral service will be held at noon at Trinity Church. A graveside service will follow
at 2 pm at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
