Michael Ray Massey, 57, passed away on August 10, 2026. Born March 2, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, Michael grew up in Euless, Texas, where he attended Trinity High School. Throughout his life, he carried himself with steady diligence and quiet integrity—someone whose honest counsel and wise perspective could be relied upon, and whose kind-hearted nature was felt in the everyday ways he showed care for others.
Michael was raised by his father, Donnie Massey, and his grandmother, Leon Massey, alongside his younger brother, Stephen Massey. His life reflected devotion and faithfulness, expressed not in grand displays but in a consistent, dependable presence and a sincere regard for what was right.
A man of thoughtful mind and deep interest, Michael held a passion for studying Theology, History, and Politics. His commitment to learning and reflection shaped the way he engaged with the world—measured, attentive, and grounded in principle.
Michael is proceeded in death by his father; Donnie Massey, Grandparents; Ulus and Leon Massey. Michael is survived by his brother; Stephen Massey and Sister-in-law; Katrina, Nephews; Austin, Brandon, Samuel Massey and Niece; Kimberlyn.
Visitation will be held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, on August 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, on August 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Graveside services will follow at Midlothian Cemetery, Cemetery Rd, Midlothian, TX 76065, on August 19, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm.
