Myrtle M. Powell
March 4, 1926 – March 26, 2021
On 26 March 2021, Myrtle M. Powell went to her heavenly home after 95 years with her family. Myrtle was widowed 3 times and was preceded in death by each of her husbands, C.J. White (husband of 39 yrs) with whom she lived in many parts of the world while he was in the Military, Emitt Martin (husband of 03 yrs); and Reverend Louis J. Powell (husband of 22 yrs); as well as all of her brothers and sisters.
She was a devout Christian and member of her local church wherever she was living throughout the years as were each of her three husbands.
Myrtle is survived by her only child, a daughter, Debora E. Rambow and son-in-law John A. Rambow of Irving, TX; granddaughter Crystal E. DeMasters and her husband John P. DeMasters of Mansfield, Texas and granddaughter Ashley L. Hollers of Simi Valley, CA.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Ms. Powell’s ashes will be memorialized at sea. A unique underwater memorialization will be performed by a professional team including certified divers. They will place a copper cenotaph in the form of a starfish on the Neptune Memorial Reef, located approximately three miles off the coast of Key Biscayne near Miami, Florida. While she will be missed by her friends and family, we know she is Rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!
