Nancy was married to Lawrence Sliker for 43 years. She earned a master's degree in English Literature from the State University of New York at Fredonia and was an English Teacher overseas. She loved to read. An avid artist, Nancy taught art at the Senior Center in Hutchinson, Kansas, before moving to Texas. Nancy was a member of Baha'i Center of Arlington.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence.
She is survived by her children, Maria Kasper, Lauren Miller (Geoff), Meg Green (Ben); step-children, Lawrence Arthur William "Bill" Sliker (Lisa), Nancy Elizabeth "Beth" Kamerer (Mike), and Tahirih Louise Gutelius (Warren); as well as many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
