

Nick grew up in Houston, Texas next door to Eva Herrera. During high school he played football and in 1980 he married the girl next door and they started their family. He worked for 15 years as a sewing machine operator for different tarp and awning companies. In 1998, the family settled in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Nick was a quiet man who enjoyed relaxing at home and watching any Houston teams play. He visited the new Cowboys stadium for a pre-season game to watch his Houston Texans win. Nick appreciated Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spent time working as a handy man. Later in life he enjoyed traveling with his family. He ventured to Philadelphia, New York, Washington, San Francisco, Italy and even took three cruises.
Nick is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo and Angelita Salinas; son, Nick Anthony Salinas.
He is survived by he wife Eva Salinas; daughters: Sarah Salinas, Anna Salinas and her husband, Matthew Daniel, Erica Salinas and her husband, Devin Joseph; son Mario Ramirez and his wife, Maggie; grandchildren: Angelina Joseph, Mason Salinas, NicAnthony Salinas-Willis, Zariah Daniel, Sheila Ann Joseph, Nickiah Joseph, Elijah Louis Joseph, Ella B. Daniel, Lorenzo Ramirez; sisters: Liz Carrizales and her husband, Jesse Sr., Gloria Jean Picazo and her husband, Daniel, Rosie Adames and her husband, Davis Sr., Sylvia Cardona and her husband, Jesse, Ester Oropeza and her husband, Mike, Irma Ward and her husband, David, Sarah Rodriguez, Margaret Ramirez and her husband, Lamon; brothers: Lawrence Salinas and his wife, Viola, Johnny Salinas, Juan Rodriguez and numerous nieces and nephews.
