Norma Jean graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1955. She went on to study Southwestern Assembly of God College. She married Richard Monroe Moore on April 18, 1958. They were married for 62 years.
Norma was primarily a homemaker but also worked as a freelance seamstress. She was a devout Christian who was a member of Lakeland Heights Assembly of God which later became Radiant Life Church for more than 60 years. She had a passion for Christ, her family, and her extended church family.
She was preceded by her parents Jesse James Penney, Virda Winnie Penny and grandson Kerry Lance Moore.
She was survived by her husband Richard, son Kerry, daughter Donna, grand children Ashli Amos, Kyle Antle, Jason Antle, Melissa Antle; great-grandchildren Andrew Amos, Eli Amos, and Elijah Baca.
Visitation for Norma will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
Funeral service will take place Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Burial will follow the service at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
