Novlyn Grace Ohlson, 89, passed away January 31, 2017 in Grand Prairie. She was born December 18, 1927 in Amarillo, Texas to parents, Kirby Tomlin and Frieda Tomlin. Novlyn was an avid gardener and also loved to travel. She was an active member of her church, Bethel Lutheran Church in Dallas. Novlyn was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby and Frieda Tomlin; her husband, Peyton Ohlson; sisters, Vivian Phillips and Frances Edens and nephew, John Phillips. She is survived by her nieces, Lana Phillips, Laura Baynham, and Linda Shanahan; nephews, Randy Edens and Larry Edens.
