Olga Refugio Alonso

Olga Refugio Alonso, beloved mother, grandmother and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, just days before her 67th birthday. Olga was born on May 30, 1959, in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Eugenio Rodriguez and Angelina Frausto, who raised her with the values of strength, kindness and dedication that she carried throughout her life.

Olga later made her home in El Paso, Texas, where she made a life centered around love, hard work and family. She worked as a seamstress, a craft that reflected her patience, creativity and attention to detail. Through ever stitch and every garment she created, Olga poured care into her work, touching the lives of many with her talent and quiet dedication.

Olga married Francisco Javier Alonso, with whom she shared a life full of memories, challenges and deep love. Together they welcomed their two sons, Omar and Giavonni Alonso, who bother became the pride and joy of her life. Olga devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, always placing the needs of her loved ones above her own. Her sons knew her as a source of unconditional love, wisdom and unwavering support.

As the years passed, Olga's greatest joy came from becoming a grandmother. Her grandchildren brought light to her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Whether through warm meals, heartfelt conversations or the comfort of her embrace, she made everyone around her feel deeply loved and cared for.

Olga will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her resilience and the endless compassion she showed to those fortunate to know her. She leaves behind her loving sons, Omar Alonso and Giovanni Alonso; her beloved grandchildren; and a family that will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love Olga gave so freely will continue to live on, through her family, her tradition and the countless live she touched. She will be missed deeply, lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
