

Pamela Joyce Rhea, 68, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1957, in Grand Prairie, Texas. A proud graduate of the Class of 1975, Pamela went on to build a successful career as a Regional Operations Manager, working at Briggs Weaver and TX Mill before retiring from RES in 2020. At RES, she played a key role in distributing industrial, safety, and oil field supplies.
On February 14, 1993, Pamela married the love of her life, Dwight Michael Rhea, and together they shared 32 wonderful years of love and companionship. Pamela was a devoted member of the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she found great joy in her faith and in helping others discover their true potential. Her life was a testament to kindness, service, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Pamela is survived by her beloved husband, Dwight; her children, Melissa Rhea and Michael Lynn Rhea and wife Angie; her grandchildren, Cortni Kordi and husband Matt, Cori Parker, and Mason Rhea; and her great-grandchildren, Keegan Parker, Ripken Earley, Lilliana Kordi, and Everly Kordi. She is also survived by her sisters, Claudia Leary and Mellonie Hardgraves; her nephew, David Kitts; and her nieces, Carri Beth Stephenson and husband Randy, and Krystal Ruckman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alton Herbert Hardgraves and Billie Evelyn Hardgraves; her siblings, Sharon Jones, Walter Edward Hardgraves, and Linda Herrera and her brother-in-law, Juan.
Pamela’s legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project in her memory.
Pamela will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched.
