Parker Bryan Jr.
June 26, 1925 – February 26, 2018
On October 2, 1948 Parker married Wilma Clara Wachter, God Blessed Parker and Wilma with 69 years and 10 months of marriage. To this union God Blessed them with 5 children, 3 girls and 2 sons.
Parker served in the United States Naval Service during World War II. Parker worked as a Municipal public bus driver in St. Louis, a home-delivery dairyman, a school custodian, a line worker for General Motors in St. Louis and a school custodian at Dallas University. Parker enjoyed being with his wife and children. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, because they brought him so much joy. Dad was a born-again Christian, he and Wilma enjoyed church hymns, Bible reading times and studying Sunday School lessons.
Dad was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed them, win or lose.
Parker is survived by his wife Wilma Bryan (nee Wachter) of Grand Prairie, TX.; 3 daughters, Susan (husband Michael) Eckhoff of Florissant, MO., daughter Donna (husband Rev. Eugene) Hudson of Steelville, Mo., daughter Melissa (husband Brian) Gregory of Tahuga, WA; 2 Sons, Robert E. (wife Mary) Bryan of Sharps Chapel, TN., and by John A. (wife Charlene) Bryan of Grand Prairie, TX.; 21 Grand Children and many Great Grand Children (and still counting.) Parker was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one grandson and one granddaughter.
There is a special appreciation to John and Charlene for the many years, weeks, days and hours they have devoted to Loving and Caring for Mom and Dad. You are a Family Blessing, Thank You.
Parker (dad) will be sadly missed and preciously remembered in all of our hearts. He was a wonderful husband, a loving son, a special brother and brother-in-law, a caring father and father-in-law, and a Grandpa who loved his grand-babies. Dad we will see you in the Rapture.
