Pat M Ellis

An original family of Grand Prairie, TX Pat graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1953. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie and on October 3, 1954 was married. She was a part of the Women’s Home Demonstration Club of Grand Prairie. Pat enjoyed fishing for catfish, gardening and playing cards. She was an animal lover and had a soft spot for the underdogs or people in need. If she saw someone less fortunate on the street she would pick them up and spend every last dime she had on groceries for them. She was the type of woman who never met a stranger. While her kids were growing up she was considered the cool mom, very loving and charitable. She is preceded in death by her parents James Howard Hale and Stella Grider Hale, brother James Travis Hale. She is survived by her sons Cary Ellis and Blake Ellis; grandchildren Crystal Lee Ellis Gonzales and husband Bobby, Dalton Hunter Ellis, Steven Paul Ellis Pound and wife Patricia; great-grandchildren Christian Lee Gonzales, Evie Pound, Kasia Pound, Patricia Pound, Stephanie Pound and brother John Hale.
