

Pat was born October 11, 1940 in Harrisburg, Arkansas, to Sidney and Jessie Pitts, but grew up in Memphis, Tennessee.
Pat volunteered for the USO in Tennessee where she met the Marine of her dreams Wayne Crews. They married April 17, 1963 and lived an amazing life together for 57 years. Wayne and Pat had 2 children, Michelle and James. They moved to Grand Prairie shortly after Wayne was honorably discharged, where she started working for GTE. After retirement, she volunteered at the Grand Prairie Tourist Center and loved enlightening visitors to the wonders of her beloved city of Grand Prairie and what it had to offer. She was an avid fisherman who could out fish anyone around. Pat also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel and working on puzzles. Other hobbies included spending time with family and friends and loving on her pets.
Pat is proceeded in death by her husband, Wayne, daughter, Michelle, and one sister, Brenda. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Kimberly and her grandchildren Patrick and Jeannie, plus 2 of her sisters Barbara and Mary Kay.
Pat Crews will be especially remembered for her sweet nature, cute giggle, and her ability to make those around her laugh.
A graveside service will be on September 13, 2025 at 10:00 am at Live Oak Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. but in lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Children’s Hospital in memory of her daughter Michelle.
