Randy O'Neal Bancroft passed away peacefully on March 7, 2019 at Arlington Memorial Hospital, after having a massive heart attack on February 27, 2019. Along with the heart attack and complications from his diabetes, on March 3, 2019 he was moved to the hospice floor at Arlington Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lonna K. Bancroft in 2016 and his parents, Thomas L. Bancroft, Sr. in 2005 and Alice L. Bancroft in 1985.
Randy was born in Greenville, Mississippi and his parents moved to Grand Prairie, Texas when he was very young. He graduated from South Grand Prairie High School and lived most of his life in Grand Prairie. After about an eighteen year courtship with Lonna K., the love of his life, they were married on February 14, 2014. They lived a short time in Grand Prairie and them moved to Kennedale. After Lonna's death in 2016, from cancer, Randy moved to Arlington. Over the years Randy worked at Redman Mobile Homes, GPISD, Bancroft and Sons Transportation, Dealers Auto Auction of Dallas and SAI in Arlington, Texas.
His family consists of a sister and brother; Linda Bancroft Longoria and her husband Ernie Longoria of Grand Prairie, Thomas Bancroft, Jr. and wife Jeannie Bancroft of Mansfield. He also had four nieces, Felicia Blanchard Hudson, Melissa Blanchard Hagood and husband Josh, Candice Bancroft LaTour, and Kari Bancroft. There are eight great nieces and nephews: Thomas LaTour, Brandon Hagood, Emily Hagood, Caden LaTour, and Kolston Hudson, Rebecca Games, Izzy Games and Emily Games. Mother and father-in-law: Randy and Lonna Burfield, Sister-in-law, Lisa Rankins and brother-in-law, Brice Hill and wife Cathy Hill. Uncles and Aunts: Charles C. Bancroft, Sr. and wife Lena Bancroft, Patricia Parker and Billy Joe Bancroft and many cousins.
Randy was loved and will be missed by his family, friends, and his dog Cookie.

A Celebration of Randy's Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce located at 900 Conover Drive.
