Renee Kim Hill
June 15, 1960 – May 7, 2018
Renee Kim Hill, age 57, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Monday May 7, 2018. Renee was born June 15, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Monte "Dill" and Ina Marie Hill.
Renee graduated a gopher from Grand Prairie High School in 1978. After she worked at Texas Trust in the basement filing and attended Mt. View College. She began her 30+ year career in accounting for Electracom, currently Seimens. Renee played on numerous city summer softball leagues, volleyball teams and bowling teams. She was an avid Mavs and Cowboys fan.
Renee loved to work in her yard. She spent countless hours gardening and turning her backyard into a English garden. She also enjoyed playing golf until her knees no longer allowed and traveling. She traveled at least once a year and visited many places including Canada and Germany. However, her favorite type of vacation was going to the beach. The salt water always helped her breath better.
Renee attended High Point Church for 10 years and was very involved with Prairie Paws. She loves dogs and the spring and fall times. Her favorite place to eat was Campo Verde. In 2009, after talking for many months she Melody Massie met face to face at a ladies night at church. From that moment they were in separable and were joined in holy matrimony in 2010. May 6, 2017 they had their destination wedding bare foot on the beach in Florida.
Renee loved to make people laugh. She was full of life, bubbly and up beat every time you saw her. She couldn't help but have fun, partly because of her goofy nature. She loved to spend time with friends but her biggest passion was her family.
Renee is survived by her wife, Melody Massie; daughter Nicole Long and 4 Grandsons; sister Barbara Toldan and sister Roxanna Jordan; fur-babys: Brie, Lilly, Trigger, Oscar, Yoda; niece Trixi Toldan, nephew Lee Toldan and his Family, niece Shauna Jordan, niece Katy Jordan, great nephew Elijah MacWithey and great nephew Terrin Caudle, 1 aunt, 2 uncles and numerous cousins, family and life long friends.
Renee was preceded in death by her parents Monte "Dill" Lee Hill and Ina Marie Jones Hill.
Renee was always more of a plant girl than a flower girl. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Renee's name to Prairie Paws

Renee was one of the sweetest, funny, athletic, and cute girls I knew throughout my school years!
She was popular and well liked because she was just so much fun to be around. I never saw her without a smile and never heard her say an unkind word.
I'm quite sure she is in the Lord's kingdom and at peace.
May the Lord bless Melody and all Renee's loved ones with comfort during this sad time!
In Renee's honor I'm sharing a photo from a video i caught in Hercules California when the Lord showed the Cross in an amazing, glorious sunset! You can watch the video if you wish, it's on You Tube: look for Hercules Ca Sunset Cross.
God bless and keep you Renee!

Renee was an intelligent and caring person. We shared many stories about our fur babies. I could always count on her to help with any accounting issue I had at work. We had an inside joke about purchasing being tuna and her the shark. I will miss her laugh and smile most of all.
Swim forever in still waters my friend. You will certainly be missed by this tuna, Sharkey!

We remember Renee. We think of her with fond memories. We lived next door to her for 20 + years. She looked out for us as we did her and her father Dill her Mother Ina. She has a very loving family, we had wonderful memories of being neighbors and friends. I am proud to have been a part of her memories and she is in ours.
